LABORATORY FOR VISUAL PERCEPTION AND ACTION

Full-time graduate student position at the Laboratory for visual perception and action at BGU
We seek for a PhD/MA student for full-time position in the laboratory for perception and action at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, under the supervision of Prof. Tzvi Ganel.
Research in the lab is focused on visual perception and the control of action using methods that include online movement tracking and behavioral psychophysics. The successful candidate will be in charge of an ISF (Israel Science Foundation) founded long-term project, aimed at looking at the relation between action and perception in older adults.
Requirements:

BA or MA in psychology or field related to cognitive or behavioral neuroscience.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong interest in research in the area of visual perception, motor control, cognition, or related fields.

Preferred background in research methods in cognitive psychology and behavioral neuroscience.
