Research Interests
My research goal is to gain a better understanding of the processes which underline visuomotor control of 2D virtual objects. To this purpose, I plan to compare movement trajectories toward real and 2D targets for their compliance with fundamental principles of human perception. Beyond providing a comprehensive investigation of the processes that mediate virtually-driven actions, the results of the proposed research are expected to have practical implications to the design of virtually-based motor interaction environments.
